This is what Mother's Day looks like when the kids are married and have families of their own. I'm stuck holding a plant! Actually, our grandchildren Facedtimed me this morning and said, "Happy Mother's Day, Mimi!" Their smiling faces were the best gift of all. I'm blessed with two wonderful sons, two lovely daughter-in-loves, and four grandchildren. But I know that Mother's Day isn't always a happy occasion for some who never had children, have children in heaven, or a mother who can no longer receive cards and flowers because she's in her heavenly home. Wherever you're at on the spectrum of motherhood, know this. God genuinely cares what you are going through and He will be your rock in times of pain and sorrow. Let Him guide you in the way to peace through His Son Jesus Christ.
